LEAGOLOGY

What's the nickname on my profile, like The Closer?

It's a nickname your results have earned, worked out from how you play. Under it, your profile shows the numbers that earned it.

Once you've played at least 5 matches across 3 series, Leagology looks at how you play and may give you a nickname. It shows on your profile under Character, with a line under it saying which of your numbers earned it.

Nobody picks it, not even the organiser. It comes from your record, and it can change as you play more.

The nicknames

  • The Assassin: pots most of what you go for, rarely fouls.
  • The Closer: wins most of the deciding frames (the last frame when it's level).
  • The Bottler: loses most of the deciding frames.
  • The Comeback Kid: a lot of your wins came from behind.
  • The Grinder: wins more than you lose, and your matches tend to go the distance.
  • The Frontrunner: wins big when you get ahead, but struggles in deciders.
  • The Entertainer: clears the table, and fouls too. Anything could happen.
  • The Philosopher: takes your time over every shot.
  • The Speedster: barely stops between shots.

If you fit more than one, you get the one higher on this list. You have one per sport.

No nickname yet? You haven't played enough, or your record doesn't fit any of them yet. That's normal.
