who we are
Leagology ("we", "us", "our") operates leagology.com. We provide tournament management tools for sports venues, clubs, and organisers worldwide.
what we collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account or using our services:
- Account data: email address, password (encrypted), name (when provided), timezone
- Profile data: date of birth, gender, country, postal code/city (when you complete your profile)
- Tournament data: match results, scores, tournament participation
- Location data: browser geolocation (only when you explicitly grant permission for "near me" features)
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type, IP address
how we use it
- To provide and improve our tournament management services
- To maintain your player profile, rankings, and match history
- To send you notifications about tournaments you've joined or follow
- To process payments via Stripe (we never store your card details)
- To show you relevant tournaments and venues near you
who we share with
We don't sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Stripe: payment processing
- Resend: transactional emails
- Cloudflare R2: file storage (images)
- Render: hosting infrastructure
public information
Tournament results, player profiles, and rankings are public by design — this is a competitive sports platform. Your email address is never shown publicly. You can control what's visible in your profile settings.
cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. No third-party tracking cookies.
your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to delete it — email hello@leagology.com and we'll do it within 48 hours.
From your settings you can deactivate your account yourself: you're signed out, you stop appearing across the site, and you can turn it back on whenever you like. Deactivating isn't deletion — if you want your data gone for good, email us and say so.
data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we remove everything that identifies you — your surname, photo, contact details, location and profile — within 48 hours.
Your first name stays on the results of matches you played. A result belongs to both people in it, and removing you would leave a hole in someone else's record.
