1. Introduction

Welcome to Leagology. These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the Leagology website and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Leagology ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of service

Leagology provides a platform for creating and managing tournaments, leagues, and competitive events. Users can organise events, invite participants, track scores, and view results.

3. User accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service:

  • For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
  • To violate any international, national, or local regulations or laws
  • To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the rights of others
  • To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, or discriminate against others
  • To submit false or misleading information
  • To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
  • To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service

5. User content

You retain all ownership rights to content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any third party's rights.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually), depending on your selected plan.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to modify subscription fees upon reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Free trial

We may offer a free trial period for certain subscription plans. At the end of the trial, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

8. Intellectual property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Leagology. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United Kingdom and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to delete your account.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

We do not warrant that the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location, or that any defects or errors will be corrected.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Leagology be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Leagology from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

By continuing to access or use our Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
