Run what you like, as often as you like. No cap on competitions, no cap on nights, no cap on players. Cancel whenever — and anything your players have already earned stays theirs. A rating is the player's, not ours to take back.

We'd rather do a few games properly than list fifty and mean none of them. Each one gets its own marker, built for how that game is actually scored — which is the bit that takes the time, and the bit that makes the rating worth having.

Why anyone
believes the number.
A rating is only worth having if it's hard to fake. So a night only counts when it was run properly — and that isn't a promise, it's the system refusing.
- — It happened at a real venue, on a real date.
- — A confirmed organiser ran it.
- — Enough players actually turned up.
- — It was marked, shot by shot, as it was played.
Miss one and the night still runs, the winner still wins, the screen still works. It just doesn't move the ladder. Run as many casual nights as you like — the ranked ones are the ones with a standard attached.
Probably not for you if:
- — There's nothing to play on — no table, no board, no court.
- — Nobody's going to run the night. This replaces the clipboard, not the person holding it.
- — You want to run one and never again. The point is the second one, and the fiftieth.
Playing is always free, and always will be. It's running the night that costs.
