LEAGOLOGY

Does my tournament count towards the Leagology Rankings?

You don't switch it on. An 8-ball match counts by itself when it's scored live on Leagology, your plan or free trial is running, and enough players signed up themselves.

You don't choose this. Leagology works it out for each match as it's played. A match counts towards the players' points when all of these are true:

  • It's 8-ball. It's the only sport with a leaderboard so far. Other sports run fine, they just don't count.
  • Your Leagology plan or free trial is running.
  • Your venue's page is live on Leagology.
  • You've confirmed your email. The owner's Leagology login has to be confirmed, from the email we sent when you signed up.
  • The score was kept live on a phone while the match was played. A result typed in at the end doesn't count.
  • It's one against one. Doubles don't count yet.
  • At least 4 players who signed up themselves have played in the series. People you added by name don't count towards the 4, and their own results don't go on the leaderboard.

A bye (no opponent that round) or a walkover (the other player didn't turn up) never changes anyone's points.

So if you want it to count, get people to sign up themselves, from the link or the QR code, rather than adding them by name. See how do I tell people about my tournament?
