LEAGOLOGY

Can I put my tournament on hold?

Yes, while nobody's signed up yet. Nobody can sign up while it's on hold, and Leagology doesn't tell anyone, so it's for a series you haven't announced.

Yes, as long as nobody's in yet. It's the series (this edition of your tournament) that goes on hold.

How

  • Before you open sign-ups, press Put it on hold under Not this time?
  • Or, in Settings, under Can't run it?, press Put it on hold. That's only there while nobody's signed up and it hasn't started.

What it does

  • Nobody can sign up.
  • It comes off your tournament's public page.
  • Nothing is deleted.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't tell anyone. No message goes to anybody who follows your tournament. If you've told people about it, tell them yourself.

Bringing it back

Open the series and press Unshelve — bring it back. It comes back before sign-ups, so press Open sign-ups again when you're ready. People who follow it are told when you open sign-ups.

If people have already signed up, there's no hold button. Move the date instead: see how do I change the date of my tournament?
