How rankings work
What does the ± number next to my points mean?
It's how sure we are that your points are right. A big number means we're still working you out. It shrinks the more you play.
Next to your points you'll see something like ±40. That's how sure we are that your points are right.
When you're new, or you've been away a while, it's big: each result moves you a lot while we work you out. The more you play, the smaller it gets, and the less each result moves you.
