How rankings work
Which matches count towards my points?
8-ball matches in a competition at a venue that runs on Leagology, with the score kept on the Leagology app as you play.
A match counts when all of these are true:
- It's 8-ball. Other sports can be played on Leagology, but only 8-ball has a leaderboard so far.
- The score was kept on Leagology, on a phone, while you played, shot by shot. A result just typed in at the end doesn't count.
- It's one against one. Doubles (two against two) don't count yet.
- The venue's Leagology plan is active.
- At least 4 players who signed up themselves (not added by the organiser) played in the competition.
- You actually played. A bye, a walkover, a forfeit or a cancelled match never changes your points.
If the organiser typed your name in at the door instead of you signing up yourself, your result doesn't count for you.
The organiser can also choose to run a competition just for fun, without it counting.
